I started and grew a variety of heirloom tomatoes that were all marked....that is until my son put down spent straw/manure. Then I couldn't find any of my markers. Then that pesky rat kept stealing all my sticks....he's building something, I'm sure. It's a good thing that all my tomatoes are different. I think the only "red" is the Brandywine if I even planted one! I should have yellow, pink, red, plum paste, and little yellow bells. The hybrids will be round and red so that will be a no brainer. Oh well, it's such a jungle now, I'll be lucky to be able to get in for picking. The plans of mice (rats) and men often go a-rye. Or my favorite..."man makes his plans but the Lord orders his steps."Diane@Peaceful Acreshttp://butterfliesandbumblebees.orgnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8685723366142370856.post-1577809352023218682010-07-22T07:25:01.898-05:002010-07-22T07:25:01.898-05:00Such beautiful tomatoes! I know what I'm having for lunch Melissa...only I'll have to use regular Beefsteak tomatoes from the garden instead of your fancy Cherokee Purple tomatoes! I think it's going to be good anyway ;) I hope you're having a wonderful Wednesday....Maura :)Maura @ Kisiwa Creek Photographyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10992187526413563417noreply@blogger.com
