Hens, hens, hens!

292

Our girls are growing fast these days.

This shot (and the one before it) was taken 2 weeks ago.

050

They’re now exactly 2 months old. All eighteen of them. And look! These little ladies are almost full-grown.

051

Sara Lynn loves to pet them.

052

Just not at feeding time. Poor baby!

053

It’ll be a few months before they start laying. But for now, we’re content to play with them.

I’m looking forward to all those fresh, organic eggs in our future! Yum.

I don't know where I'd be without my girls and their fantastic organic eggs.
Yours look so happy and healthy, it's hard to be patient isn't it.

Good Morning Melissa! Your chickens are looking good and growing nicely..it's amazing how fast they grow isn't it. We must have gotten our chicks around the same time...mine are about a week and a half older. Aww your poor little Sara Lynn...they can pinch pretty good. Have fun with your chickens ...it won't be too long until you're enjoying those beautiful eggs. Take care.....Maura:)

Sue, it is hard to be patient! But, I can almost taste those eggs... It'll be worth the wait!

Maura, I'm so glad you came for a visit! And yes, they do pinch pretty good. They usually let her pet them, but it was feeding time yesterday. I am absolutely amazed at how fast they grow!
